CHRISTINA WYLIE

Christina Wylie is a recipe developer, food and travel writer, cookbook author and entrepreneur.

She is the founder of the multi-award-winning frozen food company VeganReady – whose products are sold in supermarkets and grocery stores all over Thailand – and the award-winning restaurant Vegan Junkie

Christina has contributed articles to a wide variety of international and national publications including The Times (UK), Time Out Melbourne (AU), Time Out Hong Kong (HK), Time Out Dubai (UAE), Broadsheet Sydney (AU), Broadsheet Melbourne (AU), Nourish (AU), Traveler’s Digest (HK), Wining & Dining (Thailand), GRAM MagazineCHICoverdose (International), Samui Holiday Magazine (Thailand), Fah Thai Magazine (Singapore), Langton’s Wine Magazine (AU), View London (UK), The London Magazine (UK), Hopper (US), Thalo (US), A Magazine (AU), African Impact (South Africa), Destination Weddings (UK) and many others.

She is the author of The Sous Vide Kitchen (published in 2017), which was then translated into Italian (Sotto Vuoto, published in 2019). In 2021 the second edition of The Sous Vide Kitchen came out, Sous Vide Cooking Made Simple. (Note: Since writing this book in 2017, Christina has adopted a plant-based lifestyle, and is writing another book that reflects her new values.)

In 2013 Christina founded the online magazine The Great Aussie Bite (The GAB), for which she led a team of 60 writers across Australia. The GAB featured small businesses offering unique and meaningful experiences all over the country.

In her spare time, Christina is involved in community projects and charity fundraising for a number of animal and environmental causes. As an entrepreneur herself, Christina was on the founding board of the charity initiative Project Gen Z in 2015 to teach orphaned Cambodian children entrepreneurial skills.
